Data Collection
We do NOT collect any of the following:

Local Storage Only
The extension stores only the following data locally on your device:
- Extension enabled/disabled preference
- Counter of blocked sponsored products
- User interface settings
This data never leaves your computer and is only used to maintain your extension preferences.
How the Extension Works
The Amazon Sponsored Product Blocker:
- Analyzes Amazon.com page content locally in your browser
- Identifies sponsored product elements using CSS selectors
- Hides sponsored content to improve your browsing experience
- Updates a local counter of blocked items
No data is sent to external servers or third parties.
Permissions
The extension requests minimal permissions:
- activeTab: Only to access the current Amazon tab when you interact with the extension
- storage: Only to save your preferences locally on your device
- amazon.com: Only to detect and block sponsored content on Amazon pages
Third Parties
This extension:
- Does not share data with any third parties
- Does not include any tracking or analytics
- Does not load external scripts or content
- Does not communicate with external servers
Data Security
Since no personal data is collected or transmitted, there are no data security risks. All functionality operates entirely within your browser using local storage only.
Changes to Privacy Policy
Any changes to this privacy policy will be reflected in the extension updates. The current policy will always be available at this location.
